His path to brokerage was not the usual one. James began as an educator and administrator, then moved into Asian foreign investment, structuring U.S. real estate acquisitions for high-net-worth Japanese clients. He spent his early brokerage years at SVN, where he worked every stage of structured commercial transactions.
Kennedy Wilson brought him on next, where he rose to Vice President of Real Estate Sales & Marketing and led the execution of auction and builder marketing services worldwide. He later co-founded a boutique brokerage before joining Keller Williams Realty and KW Commercial. In 2025 he was recognized on the RealTrends Verified list as a top-performing agent in the United States.
